Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Vylla ("Vylla", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use our website and services (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email, role (seller, agent or builder), and password (stored only as an encrypted hash).
  • Profile and listing information — for agents: professional details, RERA number, location, photos and credentials; for builders/developers: company details, GST/CIN/RERA registration, projects, and gallery media; for sellers: property details you choose to post. Some uploads (for example a Government ID) are used only for private verification and are not shown publicly.
  • Payment information — when you make a payment, it is processed by our payment providers (Stripe, PayPal). We receive limited transaction details (such as status and amount) but do not store your full card details.
  • Usage data — pages visited, actions taken, and device/browser information collected automatically.
  • Communications — messages, leads, reviews and support/help requests you submit.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate and improve the Platform.
  • To match sellers with relevant agents and generate leads.
  • To verify identities, RERA registration and certifications.
  • To process payments and memberships.
  • To communicate with you about your account, security and updates.
  • To detect, prevent and address fraud or abuse.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as needed to run the Platform — for example, a seller's posted property and contact preferences are shared with matched agents, and an agent's or builder's public profile and projects are shown to users. We may share data with service providers (hosting, payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal, analytics and advertising) under appropriate safeguards, or where required by law. Private verification documents are not shared publicly.

4. Cookies and advertising

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to operate core features (such as remembering your currency preference). Where advertising is enabled, third parties such as Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads; you can manage ad personalisation via Google's ad settings. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

5. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted password storage and secure transport (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your account information, and request a copy of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

7. Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
